PCDP offers OT services in order to meet the demands of our kids. Our services include:

Occupational Therapy Services

​This program makes use of attending and compliance skills in order to increase kid’s attention span and obedience to people of authority. Likewise, the program is used to address problematic behaviors making its recipients more socially adapt. This is done by correcting contextually inappropriate behaviors that interfere not only with the learning and health of a child with special needs but also the people around him or her. Under this program, kids are also taught adaptive skills that are used in their day to day activities. Finally, the end goal of the program is to increase appropriate behaviors which are done though systematic motivations.

A program designed by the department of education for individuals nor attending formal schools. ALS is originally developed for the purpose of educating out-of-school-youth so that they can obtain in their diploma without attending a regular school.

PCDP’s partnership with DepEd, it is now possible to give ALS to kids with disabilities making them at par with those who are attending regular schools. With ALS, exceptional kids who are eligible can finish grade school and high school education in one of our Centers.

A three level program that focuses on language development:

  • Level I – the goal is the development of a kid’s imitation skills, build vocabularies, basic expressive language and other school related skills, such as identifying colors, shapes, letters, numbers, etc.

  • ·Level II – the focus is the enhancement and strengthening of all the skills developed during the previous level by developing the kid’s reasoning skills, ability to answer open-ended questions, providing opportunities for storytelling among others. Likewise, drills on improving social interaction skills and pre academic skills are conducted in this level.

  • Level III – designed for those who have mastered level I and level II. Level III focuses in developing the skills needed so that the kid cam imitate a peer’s play language. Likewise, skill that would enhance his abilities to follow the instructions, identify objects and state what is common among them are tapped. The program also targets critical thinking skills drills on recalling read stories; answering questions related to the stories are conducted. In addition, they will be taught how to understand and consider the context of the opinion of others and deduce methods on how to solve everyday problems. Emphasis is also given on improving one’s academic skills.

  • Violent manifestation of anger, like biting, kicking, throwing objects, spitting, hitting, etc.
