The Nature of PCDP

             PCDP, which stands for PARTNERS IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRESS, INC., is a duly organized and recognized corporation under the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. We are a group of caring and dedicated professionals (behavior therapists, psychologists, psychology majors, occupational therapists, SPED teachers, and educators) who are trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Structured Teaching (TEACCH). The core team that handles the operations of PCDP also serves as its Board of Directors. As practitioners, several directors are members of ABA International, Autism Society of America, Philippine Mental Health Association, and the Psychological Association of the Philippines while the Center as an organization is a member of the Autism Society of the Philippines and the ADHD Society of the Philippines.

 

Our Vision

             To be the Philippines’ leading behavior intervention provider by 2021 staffed with trained and certified behavioral therapists, licensed psychometricians and psychologists to cater to the needs of parents, teachers, children, adolescent and adults. PCDP also aims to have a strong presence and practice in other areas of Luzon and establish formal partnerships and linkages with schools and professional organizations in education and behavioral sciences.

 

Our Mission

            PCDP is committed in providing safe, reliable, appropriate and effective intervention programs that are evidence based, updated and internationally used and recognized based on the assessed needs of its clients, with the aim of maximizing their potentials in order for them to live a decent life. PCDP also commits to ensuring the quality of life of all its employees and affiliates by providing competitive economic packages and continuous behavioral and technical training.

 

Our Dedicated Team

            The President and CEO of PCDP who is also the concurrent Program Director, spearhead the entire operation. Monica T. Mendez is a licensed psychologist, and has been working with individuals with special needs since the 1980s. She has received numerous trainings from the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong making her an authority on the use of ABA in the Philippines. She is assisted by Rayna Dec G. Remo I, the Vice President and Assistant Program Director and Marc Reyes, our resident certified clinical psychologist. We have a licensed psychometrician, an MA Graduate and therapists who are continuously upgrading their skills by taking their masters and other related courses.  On the administrative side, we are fully staffed with a general manager, a certified industrial psychologist, an educational psychologist and fully trained behavior therapists--all, dedicated and committed to give our students their total development!
